Dean
Dean Hillard is the founder of Deanick Consulting Group.
He is the lead consultant and helps companies exceed their growth targets through sales and marketing opportunities.
Dean is most passionate about creating exciting energy with people through conversation and discovery. In working for some of the largest companies in the world, Dean realized his passion lives in creating real and organic relationships with his partners and decided to build a life that allows him to do that every single day.
Dean was an early stage employee at WeWork and was celebrated as one the highest performing members of the 12,000 strong company while simultaneously being an advocate for coaching and improvement among the workforce.
While working at Bullhorn, Dean was able to learn from multiple company acquisitions that enabled him to quickly develop the skills to manage and thrive in the fast paced world of venture backed technology companies. He was awarded four president club memberships while over-exceeding targets in his tenure.
At Sophos, Dean was hired as the youngest ever Account Executive to take to the floor. At just 23 he was in a fantastic place to learn, develop and hone his skills at one of the world’s most successful enterprise software companies.
When not at work, Dean can be found biting his nails while watching his beloved Leeds United FC or running around the beaches and mountains of Vancouver with his beautiful family.
JANA
Jana is the Managing Partner at Deanick Consulting Group.
Jana keeps everything ticking behind the scenes. She is passionate about helping people show up as their most authentic selves, no matter the situation.
During her professional career, Jana has held many, seemingly disparate positions, from warehouse and logistics management to makeup artistry for film, fashion and theatre; to serving at the renowned Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. No matter where she was, Jana has always put people first. Engaging with people, getting to the core of them, finding their motivation and helping them find success and growth in their roles, that’s where Jana really shines.
She was an early employee at STAT Search Analytics, that was recently acquired by a leading SEO Software company based out of Seattle, WA. As Director of People Operations, she played an integral role in that acquisition process, facilitating a smooth transition with an emphasis on employee retention.
These days Jana is focusing on the concept of “professional motivations and rewards; how companies can maintain the best outputs, while keeping employees happy and engagement high”
When she’s not working, Jana can be found lounging on her patio, planning her next trip, reading non-fiction or drinking her 6th cup of coffee.
